I recently started a habit of keeping my phone out of the bedroom. Why ? Well because I noticed that I spent so much time mindlessly scrolling through Instagram for hours with being productive in my life. Can you guess how much time we spend on social media for absolutely no reason at all. A lot believe me and we could be using those 5 hours to start a business or something. Since leaving starting this ritual of charging my phone outside the bedroom. I noticed a lot of this change. So here are 5 benefits of leaving your phone out of the bedroom when you go to sleep.
Fell Asleep Easily

I am much happier since I have stopped obsessing about that perfect Instagram life that everyone is portraying online. Thanks to limiting keeping the phone out of the bedroom at night while I could be reading a book on how to better myself in some way.
Managed to get enough good night sleep, without tossing and turning worrying about something so trivial like social media.
Enjoying my down time
Actually I am enjoying just being in the present and I could not be much happier and content.
Life is complicated enough without our help these days compared to when I was growing up. Take care of your health and mental health by being proactive in the change .
Social media is an amazing tool but it can also be too much. Learn to detox from social media one way or another, because going without social media for a few hours or 2 days you real wont miss much and it will still be here.
