At the beginning of 2021 I decided to focus on my wellness this includes mental health, fitness, and healthy relationship. these are 10 ways exercise can change your life for the better.
The reason I decided to get this year was that I was feeling sluggish and depressed all the time. By 2 pm I had no energy left and I am ready to sleep.
Decided to change things I didn’t like in my life for myself, not for anyone, and set realistic goals.
In the past, I have tried extreme diets, pills, and hacks which only left me more unhappy and hated my life.

- Improved my mood.
- Became happier.
- My depression got less, in the past 4 months.
- Felt more confident in my skin
- Sleep much better.
- Increased energy.
- Clearer skin complexion.
- Better relationship with food.
- Feeling less sluggish at the end of the day.
- Drink coffee for enjoyment not as a means of survival or staying awake.
It has been the most interesting 4 months. I stopped looking at exercise as a chore, now I enjoy it.
Not a fitness bunny yet but I am much better than I was this time last year.
Another win is fitting into clothes that stopped fitting me in a while. My body is not heavy for me anymore.
It is a working progress but exercise is good for your mind, body, and soul.
Oh before I forget I am no longer a slave to the diet culture, which failed me too many times to remember.
Learned that moderation and consistency are key to succeed in anything as well as your health. Stop stressing about equipment, your body weight comes in handy if you don’t have equipment.
One more thing, forget the scales. Believe in the process and set realistic goals.
