How To Stay Calm During Stressful Times
What a time to be alive? I was on my ride and decided to check what is happening on Twitter and normally go see what’s trending first. Rest in peace was trending clicked on it, and I was not prepared to see so much loss.
That inspired me to write a post about How To Stay Calm During Stressful Times. There are a lot of loss out there and my condolences to all the families that have lost a loved one during this pandemic time.
I will be sharing with you how I stay calm during tough times and also how I deal with stress, anxiety, and fear.
How I Stay Calm During Stressful Times

Drink a Cup of Tea
Drinking a cup of Chamomile tea just when I am about to sleep helps me to unwind and fall asleep easy.
Green tea used to make me sleep but it has stopped. Have a cup of tea herbal tea of your with less caffeine just as you are about to sleep.

Have a Bath
Soaking in a bath of warm water infused with your favorite bubble bath, essential oils or Epsom after a long day is just what you need.
There is nothing like taking a few minutes to have me time, just to relax and let your worries wash away.

Meditation
Meditation was hard for me in the beginning. I just could not stop doing my to-do list in the midst of trying to clear my mind.
With time and discipline it becomes easier. I prefer to meditate just before bed time. It has helped me sleep better.

Burning Lavender Essence
I find a lovely smelling environment soothing. My choice is Lavender because of its properties to help you relax and just be at peace.
Mute Notifications
With news of death flooding the social media on a daily basis can just be too much sometimes. Muting those notifications can be exhilarating and your mental health will thank you for this.
I found avoiding social media on the weekends and not worrying about engagement and followers really relaxing.
